Om Birla is an Indian politician currently serving as the Speaker of the 18th Lok Sabha, a position he has held since June 2024 following his re-election. A prominent member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has represented the Kota constituency in the Lok Sabha since 2014. Prior to his parliamentary career, Birla served as a member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly for Kota South from 2003 to 2014, during which time he also held the position of Parliamentary Secretary. Known for his long-standing involvement in youth politics and cooperative movements, he became the first person in two decades to be re-elected as an MP after serving as the Speaker of the Lok Sabha.
