Koki Ozora

Profile

Koki Ozora is a Japanese politician and social activist serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Matsuyama, Ehime, he graduated from Keio University, where he specialized in research on loneliness and social isolation. In 2020, he founded the NPO 'Anata no Ibasho,' a 24/7 anonymous chat consultation service that became one of the largest of its kind in Japan. His advocacy work was instrumental in the Japanese government's establishment of the Minister for Loneliness and Isolation. Politically, he supports active fiscal spending, the strengthening of defense capabilities, and the constitutional recognition of the Self-Defense Forces, while maintaining a cautious stance on nuclear sharing and opposing the concept of a female-line imperial succession.
