山口壯

Tsuyoshi Yamaguchi is a Japanese politician and former diplomat currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives. Born in Aioi, Hyogo, he began his career in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before entering politics in the 1990s. Over his long parliamentary career, he has held several key positions, including Minister of the Environment and Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Audit and Oversight of Administration. Initially elected as an independent and later affiliated with the Democratic Party of Japan, he joined the Liberal Democratic Party in 2015. Yamaguchi is known for his focus on foreign policy, security, and environmental issues, including his work on the legislation for the resolution of Buraku discrimination and his advocacy for innovation-focused fiscal policies.
