Саламаха, Орест Игоревич

Orest Salamakha was a Ukrainian politician and entrepreneur who served as a People's Deputy of Ukraine of the IX convocation. Born in Lviv, he worked in management and trade before entering politics as a trusted representative for Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the 2019 presidential campaign. Elected to the Verkhovna Rada in 2019, he served on the Budget Committee and chaired the subcommittee on local budgets. He was known for his involvement in regional development policy and his support for urban planning reforms. Salamakha passed away in January 2026 following a traffic accident near Lviv.
