Orhan Ateş

Orhan Ateş is a Turkish politician and medical professional currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly representing Bayburt. He was elected to the parliament in the 2023 general elections as a candidate for the Justice and Development Party. Prior to his political career, he had a distinguished academic career in medicine, graduating from Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine. He became a specialist in 2005, an assistant professor in 2007, an associate professor in 2011, and attained the rank of professor in 2016.
