
Orkan Özdemir

Orkan Özdemir is a German politician and a member of the Abgeordnetenhaus of Berlin. Born in West Berlin to Turkish immigrant parents, he studied political science at the Free University of Berlin. Before his election to the state parliament, he worked as a policy advisor for BQN Berlin and as a policy officer for the Berlin Senate Department for Interior and Sport. He served for nearly a decade in the Tempelhof-Schöneberg district assembly and has represented the Tempelhof-Schöneberg 3 constituency in the Berlin state parliament since 2021.
