Osamu Ihara is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Hiroshima Prefectural Assembly, representing the Higashihiroshima electoral district. He is a veteran legislator currently in his fifth term of office. Within the assembly, he is affiliated with the Liberal Democratic Party's Hiroshima Prefectural Assembly Koshikai faction. He actively contributes to regional governance through his participation in the Construction Committee and the Special Committee on Industrial Competitiveness and Labor Shortage Countermeasures.
