Oscar Cruz Oliva

Oscar Cruz Oliva is a Guatemalan lawyer, notary, and jurist who served as the President of the Supreme Court of Justice of Guatemala from November 2023 to October 2024. He earned his doctorate in penal sciences from the University of San Carlos of Guatemala and built an extensive legal career holding positions within the Procurator General's Office, the Public Criminal Defense Institute, and the Comptroller General of Accounts. In addition to his judicial service, he has been involved with various professional and electoral bodies, including serving as president of the Guatemalan Bar Association.
