Oscar Longoria

Oscar Longoria is an American attorney and politician serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives since 2013, representing District 35. Born in Mission, Texas, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from the University of Texas at Austin and his Doctorate of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law. Throughout his legislative career, he has held significant leadership roles, including serving as Chairman of the House Business & Industry Committee and as an impeachment manager during the 2023 trial of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. Longoria continues to practice law, specializing in criminal defense and personal injury, while maintaining a focus on workforce development and economic policy in the Texas legislature.
