
Osman Mesten

Osman Mesten is a Turkish politician and lawyer currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey for the province of Bursa, representing the Justice and Development Party (AK Party). He has served in the 26th, 27th, and 28th parliamentary terms. A graduate of Istanbul University Faculty of Law, Mesten has held various roles in youth organizations, including the National Youth Foundation and the Refah Party. Throughout his career, he has been involved in civil society, serving as a founding president of the IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation in Bursa and as a board member for the Turkish Authors Association. In his parliamentary capacity, he has served as a spokesperson for the Constitutional Commission and as the head of the Turkey-Uzbekistan Parliamentary Friendship Group.
