Oswald Homéky is a Beninese politician who served as the Minister of Sports under President Patrice Talon from 2016 to 2023. Originally from the Couffo department, he holds a degree in communications and previously led the Fraternité press group. He founded the Front for Alternation 2016 (FA 2016) and was a key political ally of Patrice Talon. In 2024, he was arrested on charges of conspiracy against state security and corruption, and in January 2025, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison by the Court for the Repression of Economic Offenses and Terrorism.
