Péter Kovács is a Hungarian politician currently serving as the mayor of the 16th district of Budapest, a position he has held since 2006. In addition to his long-standing local leadership, he served as a member of the National Assembly of Hungary from 2010 to 2014, representing the Budapest Constituency XXIV. During his parliamentary tenure, he was a member of the Committee on Sports and Tourism. He is affiliated with the Fidesz-KDNP political alliance and is married with three children.
