Paata Khizanashvili

Paata Khizanashvili is a Georgian administrator and former Governor of the Kvemo Kartli region. Appointed to the position in 2014, he oversaw regional development, industrial production, and agricultural initiatives in one of Georgia's most economically significant areas. Prior to his gubernatorial tenure, he held various managerial and decision-making roles, including positions at Cartu Bank JSC and within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Defense, and the Ministry of Finances. Additionally, he has a background in education and psychology, having served as the Head of the Operative Psychology Department at the Academy of the Ministry of State Security of Georgia. He is also active in the sports community, serving as the President of the Jiu-Jitsu National Federation and Vice President of the International Weightlifting Federation of Georgia.
