Pabitra Margherita

Pabitra Margherita is an Indian politician and former actor currently serving as a Minister of State for External Affairs and Minister of State for Textiles in the Third Modi ministry. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he was elected to the Rajya Sabha representing Assam in 2022. Prior to his parliamentary career, he held various roles within the Assam BJP and served as the Chairman of Jyoti Chitraban. He also acts as the Political Secretary to the Chief Minister of Assam and maintains a background in the Assamese film industry.
