Pablo Silva Amaya is a Chilean politician and administrator currently serving as the Governor of the Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins Region. Born in Gorbea in 1962, he holds a degree in administrative management from the Universidad Academia de Humanismo Cristiano. Before his election as governor in 2021, he served as the Regional Intendant of O'Higgins from 2016 to 2018 and as the Regional Ministerial Secretary of Public Works. A member of the Socialist Party, he has extensive experience in municipal administration and social leadership, having worked in various local government roles in Quinta de Tilcoco, Rancagua, Malloa, and San Vicente de Tagua Tagua. He was re-elected to his current position in 2024.
