Patience Wheatcroft, Baroness Wheatcroft

Patience Wheatcroft, Baroness Wheatcroft is a British journalist and life peer who currently serves as an unaffiliated member of the House of Lords. Before entering the legislature, she had a distinguished career in journalism, serving as the editor of The Sunday Telegraph and editor-in-chief of The Wall Street Journal Europe. She has also held various non-executive director roles, including positions at Barclays and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, and was appointed to the board of the British Museum in 2010. Originally a Conservative peer, she has sat as an unaffiliated member since 2019.
