Patricia Scotland, Baroness Scotland of Asthal, is a Dominican-British barrister and politician who serves as a life peer in the House of Lords. From 2016 to 2025, she served as the sixth Secretary-General of the Commonwealth of Nations, becoming the first woman to hold that post.
