A member of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ), he has held various leadership roles within the party's youth organization and regional structures. Before his full-time political career, he worked as an electronics technician. In addition to his legislative duties, he has been active in the Tyrol Chamber of Labour. In 2025, he was convicted in a first-instance court ruling regarding hate speech charges related to online comments.
