Patty Kim is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Pennsylvania State Senate, representing the 15th district. Before her election to the Senate in 2025, she served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2013 to 2025 and on the Harrisburg City Council from 2006 to 2012. A Korean American, Kim was the first Asian-American to serve in the Pennsylvania House. Her legislative career has focused on issues such as increasing the state minimum wage, education funding, and criminal justice reform. Prior to her political career, she worked as a television reporter and news anchor.
