Paul Christophle is a French politician serving as a member of the National Assembly for the 1st constituency of the Drôme since July 2024. A member of the Socialist Party, he has also served as the party's first federal secretary for the Drôme department since 2023. Before his election to parliament, he worked as a political advisor in the cabinets of ministers Fleur Pellerin and Patrick Kanner. Christophle is known for his focus on security issues and has occasionally taken positions independent of his party, including voting against the 'active aid in dying' legislation in 2025.
