Paul Honig is an American politician serving as a member of the Connecticut State Senate for the 8th district since 2025. Before entering politics, he spent 22 years in fixed income finance, eventually becoming a managing director at JPMorgan Chase. He later transitioned to education, working as a math teacher and tutor. Honig began his political career on the Harwinton Board of Selectmen in 2019. He is notable for being the first Democrat in 50 years to represent his district in the state senate.
