Paul Åkerlund

Paul Åkerlund is a Swedish politician and a member of the Municipal Council of Trollhättan. A long-standing figure in local politics, he previously served as the Chairman of the Municipal Board and the Mayor of Trollhättan for many years, leading the municipality through significant industrial transitions. Following the 2022 municipal elections, he stepped down from his role as municipal commissioner to focus on other political assignments while remaining active in the local council. He is recognized for his commitment to the development of Trollhättan and his efforts in preserving local heritage, such as the Saab Car Museum.
