Paul Lawless

Paul Lawless is an Irish politician serving as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Mayo constituency since the 2024 general election. Before entering national politics, he worked as a secondary school teacher of mathematics and physical education in Ballyhaunis and served as a member of the Mayo County Council. Lawless holds a degree in physical education and history from University College Cork and an MBA from Clayton State University. A former youth soccer player for Derby County F.C., he was appointed a peace commissioner in 2023 and represents the Aontú party.
