Paul Novotny

Paul Novotny is an American politician serving in the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2020. A member of the Republican Party, he represents District 30B, which encompasses parts of Anoka, Sherburne, and Wright Counties. Before entering politics, Novotny spent 30 years in law enforcement, serving as a police officer and an investigative sergeant for the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office. In the legislature, he focuses on public safety, opposing police reforms such as the end of qualified immunity and advocating for stricter penalties for fentanyl-related offenses.
