Paul Ziemiak is a German politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2017. Born in Poland, he moved to West Germany as a child and later became a prominent figure within the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). Ziemiak previously served as the federal chairman of the Junge Union from 2014 to 2018 and as the national Secretary General of the CDU from 2018 to 2022. Since 2022, he has held the position of Secretary General of the CDU in North Rhine-Westphalia. Politically, he is associated with the conservative wing of his party.
