
Paulius Saudargas

Paulius Saudargas is a Lithuanian politician and physicist who has served as a Member of the Seimas since 2008, representing the Justiniškės constituency. He also holds the position of Deputy Speaker of the Seimas. A member of the Homeland Union – Lithuanian Christian Democrats, Saudargas is recognized for his alignment with the party's Christian Democratic wing, often taking conservative stances on social issues such as same-sex partnerships. Before his parliamentary career, he worked in academia, earning a PhD in biophysics from Vilnius University in 2007.
