Peer Lilienthal is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Lower Saxony, representing the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. Born in Hannover in 1979, he served for twelve years in the Bundeswehr, including a deployment in Afghanistan, and studied political science at the University of the Bundeswehr Hamburg. Before his legislative career, he worked as a tax official. Lilienthal served on the Hannover regional assembly from 2016 to 2018 and has been a member of the state parliament since 2017, where he currently serves as the treasurer for the AfD parliamentary group.
