Penny Morales Shaw

Penny Morales Shaw is an American attorney and politician currently serving as a member of the Texas House of Representatives for District 148, a position she has held since 2021. Raised in Houston, she earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University and built a career as a business owner and legal advocate, including work with the NAACP and as a congressional advocate in Washington, D.C. Throughout her legislative tenure, she has focused on issues such as veterans' affairs, environmental regulation, and voting rights, notably participating in the 2021 legislative walkout to advocate for federal voting protections.
