Peter Bevan-Baker is a Scottish-Canadian politician and dentist who serves as a member of the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island. Born in 1962, he emigrated to Canada in 1985 and eventually settled in Prince Edward Island. Bevan-Baker led the Green Party of Prince Edward Island from 2012 to 2023, during which time he achieved historic success by forming the Official Opposition in 2019. A long-time advocate for environmental sustainability and the Genuine Progress Index, he continues to serve in the legislature as the House Leader of the Third Party.
