Peter Kofod

Peter Kofod is a Danish politician currently serving as a member of the Folketing, representing the South Jutland constituency. Born in 1990 on the island of Bornholm, he previously served as a member of the European Parliament from 2019 to 2022 and held a seat in the Folketing from 2015 to 2019. Before his national political career, Kofod worked as a primary school teacher and served as a city councillor in Haderslev and as a member of the regional council for Southern Denmark. He is a member of the Danish People's Party.
