Peter Kotlár is a Slovak politician, physician, and Member of the National Council of the Slovak Republic representing the Slovak National Party. Born in Martin, he graduated in general medicine from Jessenius Faculty of Medicine in Martin, Comenius University, and subsequently worked as a sports physician and orthopedist. In January 2024, he was appointed government plenipotentiary for investigating the management of resources during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he became known for promoting controversial views and vaccine skepticism.
