Peter Kyle

Peter Kyle is a British politician serving as the Secretary of State for Business and Trade and President of the Board of Trade since 2025. A member of the Labour Party, he has represented the constituency of Hove and Portslade as a Member of Parliament since 2015. Previously, he served as the Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology. Before entering politics, Kyle worked as an aid worker in Eastern Europe and the Balkans and held executive roles in the voluntary sector. His political career has focused on social exclusion, youth justice, and the regulation of artificial intelligence.
