Peter Pellegrini is a Slovak politician serving as the sixth president of Slovakia since 2024. A prominent figure in national politics, he previously held key offices including prime minister of Slovakia from 2018 to 2020, speaker of the National Council during two non-consecutive stints, and various ministerial portfolios. Formerly a member of Direction – Social Democracy, he later co-founded and led Voice – Social Democracy.
