Peter Östman

Peter Östman is a Finnish politician serving as a Member of the Parliament of Finland representing the Vaasa constituency since 2011. He currently chairs the Christian Democratic Parliamentary Group and has previously served as the Secretary General and Vice Chairman of the Christian Democrats. Throughout his career, he has been an active member of various parliamentary bodies, including the Grand Committee and the Legal Affairs Committee. Östman is known for his advocacy on issues such as the maintenance of bilingual status in his home region of Larsmo, the prohibition of swastikas in Finland, and the criminalization of Holocaust denial.
