Peter Tabuns is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of Provincial Parliament for the riding of Toronto—Danforth. First elected in a 2006 by-election, he has been a consistent voice for environmental protection and social justice within the Ontario New Democratic Party. Tabuns previously served as the interim leader of the Ontario NDP and Leader of the Official Opposition from 2022 to 2023. Before his provincial career, he was a Toronto city councillor and the executive director of Greenpeace Canada.
