Порошенко, Пётр Алексеевич

Petro Poroshenko is a Ukrainian politician, entrepreneur, and the fifth President of Ukraine, serving from 2014 to 2019. Currently, he serves as a People's Deputy of Ukraine and leads the European Solidarity party. Throughout his career, he has held various high-level government positions, including Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Economic Development and Trade. Known for his background in the confectionery industry as the founder of the Roshen corporation, he has been a prominent figure in Ukrainian politics since the late 1990s, playing a key role in the Orange Revolution and the subsequent development of Ukraine's pro-European foreign policy.
