Philippe Mouiller

Philippe Mouiller is a French politician serving as a Senator for the Deux-Sèvres department since 2014. A member of The Republicans, he currently chairs the Senate's Committee on Social Affairs. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has focused on social policy, notably championing the deconjugalization of the disability allowance (AAH) and legislation to improve care for patients with Charcot's disease. In 2025, he authored a law aimed at addressing medical deserts by regulating physician installation. Previously, he served as the Mayor of Moncoutant from 2008 to 2017 and as a regional councillor for Poitou-Charentes.
