Piero Marchesi

Piero Marchesi is a Swiss businessman and politician serving as a member of the National Council of Switzerland since 2019. Representing the Swiss People's Party, he has been a prominent figure in local and federal politics. In addition to his federal mandate, he has served as the mayor of Tresa since 2021. Previously, he held municipal office in Monteggio and was elected to the Cantonal Council of Ticino in 2019, though he did not assume that seat due to his successful election to the federal parliament.
