Pierre Henriet is a French politician serving as a member of the National Assembly for the 5th constituency of Vendée since 2017. A former mathematics teacher with a background in philosophy of science, he began his political career as a municipal councilor in Saint-Pierre-le-Vieux. Initially elected under the La République en Marche banner, he later joined the Horizons group in 2024. During his parliamentary tenure, he has served as the president of the Parliamentary Office for the Evaluation of Scientific and Technological Choices (OPECST).
