Thierry Repentin

Thierry Repentin is a French politician currently serving as the Mayor of Chambéry and President of the Grand Chambéry agglomeration community. A former Senator for Savoie, he held ministerial roles in the government of Jean-Marc Ayrault, serving as Minister Delegate for Vocational Training and Apprenticeship, and later as Minister Delegate for European Affairs. Throughout his career, he has been a prominent specialist in housing policy, having chaired the National Housing Agency and the Social Union for Housing. He is known for his legislative work on social housing and urban planning, and he continues to be an active figure in regional politics in the Savoie department.
