Pieter Heerma

Pieter Heerma is a Dutch politician currently serving as the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations in the Jetten cabinet since 2026. A member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA), he previously served as a member of the House of Representatives from 2012 to 2023, where he held the position of parliamentary leader for the party on two separate occasions. Before his legislative career, he worked in corporate communication and as a press officer for the CDA parliamentary group. He is the son of the late politician Enneüs Heerma.
