Pilar Schiavo

Pilar Schiavo is an American politician serving as a member of the California State Assembly for the 40th District since 2022. Representing parts of the northwest San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and Valencia, she secured her seat by defeating an incumbent Republican in the 2022 election. Prior to her legislative career, Schiavo worked as a small business owner and a nurse advocate. Her political platform has garnered support from a wide range of labor unions, community organizations, and environmental groups.
