A member of the Civic Platform, he previously served as a city councilor in Konin for three terms between 2006 and 2018. Before his career in politics, he worked as a business owner and as the director of the Provincial Road Traffic Center in Konin. He holds degrees from the Poznań University of Economics and Business, the WSB University in Poznań, and the State University of Applied Sciences in Konin. In 2024, he was successfully re-elected to his second term as mayor.
