Paweł Maj

Paweł Maj is a Polish local government official and entrepreneur who has served as the Mayor of Puławy since 2018. A landscape architect by education, he previously operated his own landscape architecture business and worked as a massage therapist. Before his election as mayor, he was active in local politics as a city councilor, where he was associated with the Social Initiatives Association TERAZ. In 2018, he successfully ran for mayor as an independent candidate, defeating the long-term incumbent, and was subsequently re-elected in 2024. In 2026, he was appointed to the Council of Local Government at the President of the Republic of Poland.
