Rafael Rokaszewicz is a Polish local government official and politician currently serving as the Mayor of Głogów, a position he has held since 2014. Born in 1973 in Głogów, he is a mechanical engineer by training, having graduated from the University of Zielona Góra, and holds postgraduate degrees in investment law and local government administration from the University of Wrocław. Before his election as mayor, he served as the Starosta (district administrator) of Głogów County from 2010 to 2014. A member of the New Left party, he has been active in local politics for over two decades, including service as a county councilor. He is also associated with the Lower Silesian Local Government Movement and has been recognized for his contributions to local governance and fire protection services.
