Pir Ameer Ali Shah Jeelani is a Pakistani politician currently serving as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan. He first entered the National Assembly in February 2021 following a by-election in NA-221 Tharparkar-I, a seat previously held by his late father, Pir Noor Muhammad Shah Jeelani. He was subsequently re-elected to the National Assembly in the 2024 general election representing the NA-214 Tharparkar-I constituency. Throughout his tenure, he has been associated with the Pakistan People's Party. Recently, he has faced criticism from local civil society groups regarding his alleged involvement in providing support to police officers accused in the extrajudicial killing of a blasphemy suspect in Umerkot.
