Pradeep Bal Samanta is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Odisha Legislative Assembly representing the Sukinda constituency. In addition to his legislative duties, he holds the position of Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Cooperation, Handloom, and Textiles in the Government of Odisha. He assumed office in June 2024 as part of the cabinet led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. He holds a PhD from The Open International University in Colombo, Sri Lanka, which he earned in 2008.
