Prahlad Joshi

Prahlad Joshi is an Indian politician currently serving as the Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and the Minister of New and Renewable Energy. A long-standing member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has represented the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency since 2004, securing five consecutive electoral victories. Throughout his career, he has held various ministerial portfolios, including Parliamentary Affairs, Coal, and Mines. Known for his early involvement with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Joshi has been a prominent political figure in Karnataka for decades.
