Prashant Thakur is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly representing the Panvel constituency. Born in 1974, he began his political career with the Peasants and Workers Party of India before joining the Indian National Congress and eventually the Bharatiya Janata Party. Throughout his career, he has held various leadership roles, including serving as the President of the Panvel Municipal Corporation and as the Chairman of CIDCO. In addition to his political work, he is involved in educational administration as a board member of the Janardan Bhagat Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha.
