Pratap Sarnaik

Pratap Sarnaik is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly representing the Ovala-Majiwada constituency. Born in 1964 in Wardha, he began his political career with the Indian National Congress before joining the Nationalist Congress Party and eventually the Shiv Sena in 2008. Beyond his legislative duties, Sarnaik is a prominent businessman, serving as the Chairman of the Vihang Group, which operates in the real estate and hospitality sectors. He is also known for his social activism, including the organization of large-scale Dahi Handi events in Thane.
